Feasibility of cangrelor-spiked specimens for platelet function proficiency testing across three survey formats (ISTH 2026) - May 25, 2026 - Abstract #PB1235; Pres time: Jul 12, 2026; 01:45 PM - 02:45 PM; Location: Exhibition Hall- Poster Area; "In PF1, 5/7 laboratories returned results; all 5/5 reported abnormal collagen/ADP cartridge closure time (CT) with ≥1 cangrelor concentration, whereas results with the collagen/epinephrine cartridge were more variable. Conclusions Cangrelor-spiked specimens produced consistent ADP-pathway inhibition across three platelet function survey formats, supporting feasibility of incorporating cangrelor as a practical PT challenge for platelet function testing.
