CD206+ Tumor-Associated Macrophages in Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma: A Potential Immunotherapy Target (ATA 2025) - Aug 25, 2025 - Abstract #Late Breaking Poster 464; Pres time: Sep 13, 2025; 10:25 AM - 11:25 AM; "Macrophages constitute up to 50% of the ATC tumor microenvironment, predominantly polarized to the immunosuppressive, pro-tumorigenic M2 phenotype. Our findings reveal a high prevalence of CD206+ M2-like TAMs in ATC, supporting their role in tumor progression and resistance to therapy. These data suggest CD206 as a promising target for immunomodulatory therapy."
