These preliminary data suggest that ctDNA TF reflects the volumetric tumour burden assessed by 18F-DOPA PET/CT in MTC, with the strongest association for MTV and TLA, consistent with ctDNA shedding driven by tumour bulk rather than intensity. All High ctDNA-TF patients showed PET-positive disease, while PETnegativity or only lymph node disease was seen in the Low ctDNA-TF group, supporting a complementary role of LB and functional imaging in MTC assessment."
