PD-1 receptor occupancy and soluble PD-1 kinetics after adjuvant anti-PD-1 in melanoma (ESDR 2026) - Oct 5, 2026 - Abstract #LB068; "We monitored 35 melanoma patients previously treated with adjuvant nivolumab or pembrolizumab from treatment discontinuation (T0p) up to 12 months post-therapy. To our knowledge, these data provide a first integrated description of cell-bound and soluble PD-1 off-kinetics after discontinuation of adjuvant anti-PD-1 in a real-life setting. The combination of declining soluble PD-1, loss of cellular RO, and preserved PD-1 expression suggests a regulated reshaping of both, soluble and membrane-bound PD-1 after anti-PD-1 withdrawal; the mechanisms driving this redistribution remain unclear and warrant further study."
