Ultra-rapid cycling bipolar disorder is genuinely hard to treat, and this case shows what that looks like in practice. Sustained remission may require earlier procedural intervention, more aggressive management of comorbidities, and a willingness to consider agents, including clozapine, that are often reserved as a last resort."
