Combination of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors With Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor-Targeted Agents in Advanced Gastric and Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis. (PubMed, Am J Clin Oncol) - Sep 19, 2026 - "Camrelizumab, pembrolizumab, and nivolumab were the most commonly used ICIs, while apatinib was the most frequently used VEGF-targeted agent. ICIs plus VEGF-targeted agents showed promising activity, particularly when combined with chemotherapy. However, substantial interstudy heterogeneity limits definitive conclusions, highlighting the need for larger, standardized trials to optimize treatment strategies and identify patients most likely to benefit."
