Nulojix (belatacept) - BMS
mycophenolate mofetil - Generic mfg.
A multi-centre study of Belatacept and Sirolimus for human islet transplantation (TTS 2026) - Sep 17, 2026 - Pres time: Sep 23, 2026; 08:00 AM - 08:07 AM; Location: Room C4.7; 411; "They were compared to a contemporaneous cohort of recipients treated with tacrolimus/mycophenolate mofetil (tac/MMF). The proportion of FOXP3+ regulatory T cell, memory-like Treg, transitional activated memory CD8+ T cells, and atypical class-switched memory B-cells were significantly higher in the Bela/siro group. Baseline immunosuppression with Bela/siro facilitated early islet engraftment and improved rates of insulin independence, as well as less impact on renal function, supporting the rationale for routine use in islet transplantation."
