WHAT DOES THE PHARMACOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF CANNABIS-INDUCED PSYCHOSIS HAVE TO SAY FOR OUTCOME - A PHARMACOEPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDY (WPA-WCP 2026) - Oct 15, 2026 - Pres time: Sep 25, 2026; 01:50 PM - 02:10 PM; Location: Hall A7; "Specific antipsychotics associated with decreased risks included aripiprazole LAI (aHR 0.27, 95% CI 0.14–0.51), olanzapine LAI (0.28, 0.15–0.53), clozapine (0.55, 0.34–0.90) and oral aripiprazole (0.64, 0.45–0.91). Clozapine (0.6–<1.4 Defined Daily Doses, DDDs/day), olanzapine (≥0.6 DDDs/day), aripiprazole (0.6–<1.4 DDDs/day), risperidone (<0.6 DDDs/day), and other oral antipsychotics (0.6–<1.4 DDDs/day) were effective, while quetiapine showed no benefit. In particular, LAIs, clozapine and oral aripiprazole were associated with a decreased risk of psychosis relapse following CIP. Most suitable dose range for most antipsychotics is 0.6–<1.4 DDDs/day."
