Targeting the Type I Interferon Pathway: Efficacy and Safety of Anifrolumab in Refractory Juvenile Dermatomyositis-A Multi-Center Experience (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #2849; Pres time: Nov 10, 2026; 02:00 PM - 02:15 PM; Location: W109; In Person; "Before beginning anifrolumab infusions, all patients received prednisone, IVIG, and at least two other immunosuppressive agents (Table 1). Anifrolumab demonstrated promising efficacy in this cohort of 6 patients with refractory JDM, resulting in clinically meaningful improvement in cutaneous and overall disease activity. The favorable safety profile, with no adverse effects reported in any patient, is encouraging. Type I interferon signature normalization in patients with available paireddata provides biological evidence of successful IFNAR1 blockade and support the mechanistic rationale for anifrolumabuse in JDM."
