(PubMed, J Clin Microbiol) - Aug 22, 2026 - "AFST was performed by broth microdilution (CLSI M38 standard) for itraconazole, voriconazole, posaconazole, isavuconazole, terbinafine, flucytosine, amphotericin B, natamycin, and manogepix. Caution is needed in interpreting itraconazole AFST results due to high interlaboratory variability. These antifungal in vitro susceptibility data suggest limited options to treat P. lilacinum infections."
