Prevalence, Treatment Patterns and Comorbidities of Severe Chronic Hand Eczema (EADV 2026) - Aug 6, 2026 - Abstract #P1523; AS-1092; Pres time: Sep 30, 2026; Location: ePoster Area; "Prior to starting alitretinoin, topical glucocorticosteroids (GCs) were most commonly prescribed treatment (67%), followed by systemic GCs (24%), both of which decreased after treatment commencement (52% and 10%, respectively). Significant comorbidity associations were identified with chronic skin diseases, including psoriasis (OR = 17.98, 95% CI = 13.18–24.54), urticaria (OR = 7.28, 95% CI = 3.72–14.22), and rosacea (OR = 3.47, 95% CI = 1.84–6.56). Conclusions The treatment observed landscape for severe CHE largely corresponds with national guidelines, reflecting effective real-world application."
