Prevymis (letermovir) - Merck (MSD)
CMV reactivation post allogeneic stem cell transplantation decreases relapse risk and survival, and increases NRM - a single center analysis. (PubMed, Leuk Lymphoma) - May 18, 2026 - "This cohort reflects a predominantly in vivo T-cell-depleted transplant population in the pre-letermovir era...CMV reactivation was associated with lower relapse risk in patients with myeloid malignancy, although the biological basis of this association remains uncertain. Refractory CMV increases CMV-related mortality, but probable refractory CMV does not increase mortality risk."
