Six recipients experienced rejection (4 LTRs, 2 HTRs) post-transplant.Conclusion Letermovir appears effective in preventing CMV in thoracic transplant recipients. Ongoing enrollment and comparison with a historical VGV cohort will clarify its relative efficacy and tolerability in this population."
