Letermovir for Cytomegalovirus Prophylaxis in Heart Transplant Recipients (WTC 2025) - Jul 30, 2025 - Abstract #P2.04.1; Pres time: Aug 4, 2025; 03:30 PM - 04:30 PM; Location: Exhibit Hall AB; "One in 10 patients (10%) developed low-level, non-clinically significant CMV DNAemia during letermovir prophylaxis and switched to ganciclovir. Letermovir was well tolerated with no clinically evident adverse events; however, one patient developed CMV DNAemia during prophylaxis. Close monitoring for breakthrough CMV and calcineurin inhibitor levels is necessary. Further prospective studies are warranted."
