Impact of Acute Graft-Versus-Host Disease and Delayed Hematopoietic Recovery on the Incidence and Clinical Burden of Late Cytomegalovirus Reactivation and Disease After Letermovir Prophylaxis During the First 100 Days After Cord Blood Transplantation. (PubMed, Transplant Cell Ther) - Jun 13, 2026 - "Grade II-IV aGVHD and delayed hematopoietic recovery are major risk factors for late CMV reactivation and disease in CBT recipients following LTV prophylaxis during the first 100 days post-transplantation. These factors are associated with an increased clinical burden, characterized by recurrent late CMV reactivation and prolonged duration of anti-CMV therapy. Extended LTV prophylaxis is recommended for the CBT population and is particularly essential for patients harboring these high-risk clinical factors."
