Real-world safety of baricitinib in rheumatoid arthritis: Incidence and predictors of herpes zoster and cardiovascular events (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #465; Pres time: Nov 8, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; In Person; "The incidence of cardiovascular events and VZV reactivation in RA patients treated with baricitinib in real-world practice is low and consistent with previously described ranges. The risk is primarily determined by traditional risk factors, notably advanced age, rather than a dose-dependent effect of baricitinib. Furthermore, an adequate lipid profile (HDL >40 mg/dL) acts as a protective factor against VZV reactivation."
