The Keytruda-Padcev combination has cleared price negotiations for Korean national health insurance coverage as a first-line treatment for advanced urothelial carcinoma, the most common type of bladder cancer, after prolonged talks (Korea Biomedical Review) - Sep 15, 2026 - "According to industry sources on Monday, the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) recently concluded price negotiations with MSD Korea and Astellas Pharma Korea over reimbursement for Keytruda (pembrolizumab) plus Padcev (enfortumab vedotin). The agreement came after the NHIS and the two companies continued negotiations beyond the original deadline. If the remaining procedures, including review by the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Health Insurance Policy Deliberation Committee, proceed as planned, the combination is expected to gain insurance coverage in October....The approval and reimbursement assessment of Keytruda plus Padcev were supported by results from the global phase 3 EV-302/KEYNOTE-A39 trial."
