Global Cardiovascular Safety of Romosozumab in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoporosis: A Propensity-Matched TriNetX Cohort Study (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #2401; Pres time: Nov 10, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; In Person; "In this large global propensity-matched real-world cohort of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis, romosozumab was not associated with increased short- or long-term cardiovascular risk despite the elevated baseline cardiovascular risk in RA. During extended follow-up, romosozumab users demonstrated lower risks of MACE, all-cause mortality, heart failure, fractures, and VTE compared with non-users. Although residual confounding and treatment-selection bias inherent to observational studies should be considered, these findings support the cardiovascular safety of romosozumab in carefully selected patients with RA and osteoporosis."
