Real-World Romosozumab Utilization Patterns Among Medicare Beneficiaries: A Multistate Analysis (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #629; Pres time: Nov 8, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; In Person; "Transition stage-specific hazard ratios were estimated using Cox regression stratified by age, race, provider specialty, geographic region, prior osteoporosis(OP) treatment (bisphosphonates (oral(OBP) and intravenous (IVBP)), parathyroid hormone (PTHA) analogues, and denosumab), fracture history, metropolitan residence, Medicaid dual-eligibility, Charlson score, and year of initiation. Romo utilization pattern varied by demographic, comorbidity, OP treatment history, and socioeconomic status. Multistate modeling identified potential stage-specific predictors, which may help target patients at high risk for an interrupted or incomplete course of treatment leading to risk of suboptimal treatment response."
