The incidence of severe VA/SCA among quizartinib-treated patients was low and comparable to that of other AML therapies. Events occurred early after treatment initiation and in patients with cardiovascular risk factors and taking QT-prolonging medications. Further patient accrual will improve precision and enable evaluation of risk factors."
