(PubMed, Neurotoxicology) - Sep 23, 2026 - "EMPA was associated with antiseizure and neuroprotective effects in PTZ-induced kindling epilepsy, particularly when combined with reduced-dose LEV (100mg/kg). These findings suggest that EMPA may represent a promising candidate for further investigation as an adjunctive therapeutic approach in epilepsy."
