Characterization of Weight Loss with Nerandomilast in Patients with Autoimmune Interstitial Lung Disease and Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis in the FIBRONEER-ILD Trial (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #1775; Pres time: Nov 9, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; In Person; "Cyclophosphamide, tocilizumab, mycophenolate, rituximab, and prednisone >15 mg/day (or equivalent) were not permitted at enrolment, but could be initiated after 6 months to manage worsening of systemic disease...Methotrexate and azathioprine were the most frequently used immunomodulatory medications, taken by 11.7% and 10.8% of patients, respectively... In the FIBRONEER-ILD trial, among patients with autoimmune ILD and PPF who were not taking nintedanib, average weight loss over 52 weeks was 0.9 kg higher in patients who received nerandomilast 18 mg bid than in those who received placebo; however, a relative decline in weight >10% over the whole trial was not uncommon across the nerandomilast and placebo groups. Monitoring weight is an important aspect of the care of patients with autoimmune ILD. Table."
