Vanzacaftor/tezacaftor/deutivacaftor: examining outcomes in an adult cystic fibrosis clinic (NACFC 2026) - Sep 9, 2026 - Abstract #672; "Background: The first "highly effective modulator therapy (HEMT) " for individuals with at least one F508del mutation, twice-daily elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (ETI), was approved in October 2019. Though this data comes from a small sample size, we begin to observe trends in outcomes. As seen in clinical trials, VTdI appears to have neutral effects on ppFEV1, A1c, and LFTs. It has a reassuring general hepatic safety profile, with no major overall changes in labs."
