24-Week Interim Findings from a Randomized Phase 2 Study of Iptacopan (LNP023) Indicate High Remission Rates in Participants with Active ANCA-Associated Vasculitis (ACR Convergence 2026) - Oct 16, 2026 - Abstract #LB16; Pres time: Nov 10, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; P2 | "Participants were randomized to receive iptacopan 200mg twice daily or placebo, each in combination with rituximab (RTX) induction therapy and a protocol-defined GC taper...Mean cumulative AUC is displayed as prednisone equivalent doses in mg... Interim data suggest maintained remission rates with iptacopan and lower GC exposure without RTX redosing at Month 6, when compared to placebo who received Month 6 RTX. Lower GC baseline doses were associated with similar time to remission and remission rates vs higher GC cohorts, suggesting a stricter steroid regimen may be optimal in this population. From W16, overall GC exposure was lower with iptacopan than placebo suggesting a longer term steroid sparing effect."
