BEYOND FETAL SCREENING: NIPT REVEALING A MATERNAL LYMPHOPROLIFERATIVE DISEASE (SIE 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #SP090; "A session of plasmapheresis was carried out in order to lower MC, allow- ing to start treatment with R-CHOP.After 4 cycles of R- -CHOP, the patient showed good clinical response with an interim PET-scan showing no uptake. CT and PET-scan will be planned at the end of treatment. The association of abnor- mal NIPT findings and occult maternal disease has been pre- viously reported in the literature, with haematological malig- nancies representing the most commonly identified underly- ing pathology. Our case further supports the importance of starting promptly a diagnostic work-up, whenever NIPT find- ings might be suggestive for a maternal occult oncological disease."
