Collectively, these findings identify peak 1 Abeta as a native seed-competent Abeta species in the brain and demonstrate that its seeding activity can be neutralized by mAb158, suggesting a potential mechanism by which lecanemab may neutralize pathogenic Abeta seeds and thereby interfere with the propagation of Abeta pathology."
