Beyond Tumour Burden: Spleen-Referenced Spatial Dissemination on Baseline ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT Predicts Interim Treatment Response in DLBCL (EANM 2026) - Sep 29, 2026 - Abstract #EP-0548; "The aim was to assess the relationship between these parameters and interim PET/CT response in DLBCL patients receiving rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone (R-CHOP) chemotherapy. Spreadspleen, a novel spleen-referenced tumour dissemination parameter derived from baseline 18F-FDG PET/CT, is significantly associated with interim treatment response in DLBCL. A cutoff of 3.74 cm identifies patients likely to achieve complete metabolic response with 100% sensitivity and 100% NPV, supporting the potential role of spleen-based spatial PET/CT metrics as non-invasive prognostic biomarkers warranting validation in larger prospective cohorts."
