Venous thrombosis in large B-cell lymphoma; the risk it poses to the patient's prognosis and the ability of PET-CT to detect it and assess response to treatment (EANM 2026) - Sep 29, 2026 - Abstract #EP-1470; "Materials and We present the case of a 65-year-old male patient diagnosed with DLBCL stage IVBX IPI 5 high risk, treated with 6 cycles of R-CHOP with a complete response on interim FDG PET-CT, but relapse in the PET-CT scan after completing treatment (with paraneoplastic neurological syndrome). Since he had a reduced LVEF as a contraindication to CAR-T therapy, he was treated with Glofit-GemOx second-line regimen, with a dissociated response on interim FDG PET-CT and third-line treatment with Polatuzumab-R-Bendamustine... VTE is a serious tumor complication that worsens the patient's prognosis and occurs with significant frequency in DLBCL, so it is important to know how to recognize it in FDG PET-CT studies."
