Comparison of Efficacy and Safety Among Four Therapeutic Regimens in Primary Membranous Nephropathy with High Phospholipase A2 Receptor (PLA2R) Antibody Titers: A Single-Center Retrospective Cohort Study (KIDNEY WEEK 2026) - Oct 2, 2026 - Abstract #SA-PO0831; Pres time: Oct 24, 2026; 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM; Location: Exhibit Hall A, Convention Center; "Background We conducted a retrospective study to compare the efficacy and safety of four regimens in this high-risk population: rituximab monotherapy, tacrolimus plus glucocorticoids, rituximab plus cyclosporine, and cyclophosphamide plus glucocorticoids Methods We retrospectively enrolled 185 patients with biopsy-proven PMNs and anti-PLA2R titers > 150 RU/mL. Conclusion The RTX plus CsA regimen was comparable in efficacy to the CTX regimen in inducing clinical and immunological remission and superior to both the RTX and TAC regimens with lower relapse rates and no serious adverse events. The RTX plus CsA regimen may be more effective and safer and could serve as a promising therapeutic option for patients with PMN with high anti-PLA2R antibody titers."
