Efficacy and safety of two interleukin-17 inhibitors (bimekizumab and secukinumab) in the management of hidradenitis suppurativa: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials. (PubMed, Skin Health Dis) - Oct 1, 2026 - "IL-17 inhibitors are associated with an improvement in clinical response and pain outcomes in patients with moderate-to-severe HS, with an acceptable safety profile in the available studies. Given the limited number of trials with no head-to-head comparisons, further large-scale and independent studies are required to clarify their long-term role, particularly in patients whose HS is refractory to conventional and biologic therapies."
