RIBOCICLIB INDUCED HEPATOTOXICITY: INSIGHTS INTO THE MECHANISM OF LIVER INJURY, CLINICAL COURSE, AND MANAGEMENT (AASLD 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #3344; Pres time: Nov 7, 2026; 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM; Location: Convention Center: Poster Hall, Hall DE; "Palbociclib was held and liver enzymes normalized. Prednisone was started in all our patients resulting in rapid improvement and normalization of liver enzymes... We believe that ribociclib causes indirect hepatotoxicity, mechanistically like immunotherapy induced hepatitis (ICH) as seen with immune check point inhibitors. Hepatotoxicity from ribociclib, like ICH, is dose-independent with variable latency period. Liver biopsy showed features commonly seen in ICH."
