REPORT ON THE EARLY EFFICACY AND SAFETY OF MESENCHYMAL STROMAL CELLS (MSCS–OBNITIX (SIE 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #C091; Pres time: Sep 23, 2026; 02:15 PM - 03:45 PM; Location: HALL 3; "Graft versus host disease (GvHD) remains a major complication after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT), and patients with steroid- and ruxolitinib-refractory (SRR-GVHD) GvHD have limited treat- ment options...Our data show that MSCs cell therapy pro- vides an improvement in heavily pretreated GvHD, including both gastrointestinal and cutaneous manifestations, allowing discontinuation or reduction of immunosuppressive therapy in about 6/14 (43%)% of cases, and without adverse events. These results encourage further and earlier exploration of MSCs either alone or in combination for GvHD prophylaxis and treatment."
