MOMELOTINIB IN VEXAS SYNDROME: A PRELIMINARY REPORT EVALUATION OF SAFETY AND EFFECTIVENESS (SIE 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #C029; Pres time: Sep 21, 2026; 03:40 PM - 05:10 PM; Location: HALL 2; "Janus kinase inhibitors, particularly ruxolitinib (RUXO), have shown efficacy in VEXAS, but RUXO-associated anemia of- ten leads to dose reduction or discontinuation. Six male patients with VEXAS (median age 67 years) were included; all had con- comitant lower-risk myelodysplastic syndrome. Four pa- tients had previously received RUXO, discontinued for wors- ening anemia (n=3) or skin rash (n=1). At baseline, all pa- tients were on prednisone (median 15 mg/day) and four were on erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESA)."
