INCOMPLETE MARROW RECOVERY AFTER APLASIA: COMPLEMENTARY INSIGHT FROM MRI (SIE 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #SP007; "In the absence of an HLA-matched relat- ed donor, the patient received immunosuppressive therapy with horse antithymocyte globulin (ATGAM), cyclosporine, corticosteroids, and eltrombopag. Diffuse millimetric T1 hypointense and T2 hyper- intense foci on MRI may reflect a patchy pattern of marrow recovery. Bone marrow MRI may provide clinically relevant insight into the spatial distribution of recovery, not fully cap- tured by single-site biopsy, supporting its potential role as a complementary tool in post-aplastic marrow evaluation in se- lected patients."
