THROMBOTIC BURDEN AND RISK FACTORS FOR PROGRESSION TO OVERT MYELOFIBROSIS IN PRE-FIBROTIC MYELOFIBROSIS: A MULTICENTER PROSPECTIVE COHORT STUDY (SIE 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #SP122; "A spleen size ≥14.5 cm (ultrasound longitudinal diameter) identified pa- tients with significantly inferior 5-year TFS (62% vs 87%, p=0.008).Treatment strategies (hydroxyurea, peg-interferon, ruxolitinib) did not significantly impact outcomes.Eight pa- tients (10%) progressed to overt MF. Hemoglobin ≥11.2 g/dL identifies patients at lower risk of fibrotic evolution, suggesting the need for re- calibration of prognostic thresholds in pre-PMF. These find- ings suggest the need for disease-specific risk scores."
