Targeted long-acting cisplatin–SRGel for enhanced chemoradiation in head and neck cancer: Preclinical pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacy. (ASCO 2026) - "TumoCure is a long-acting cisplatin formulation enabling sustained local drug exposure with markedly reduced systemic toxicity. Preclinical data demonstrate favourable pharmacokinetics, improved safety, and enhanced efficacy as monotherapy and in combination with radiotherapy compared with systemic cisplatin. TumoCure is currently being evaluated in a Phase Ib clinical study in palliative and resistant disease settings, with a Phase II combination study with radiotherapy in preparation."

Preliminary efficacy and safety of intratumoral long-acting cisplatin-SRGel (TumoCure) in refractory locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Phase Ib CLPR-001. (ASCO 2026) - P1 | "In heavily pretreated, platinum-resistant/refractory patients, TumoCure treatment was safe and well tolerated. Early signals of tumor regression and improvement in tumor bulk-related symptoms were observed, supported by markedly reduced systemic platinum exposure. These findings support continued development of TumoCure as treatment for refractory LA-HNSCC."
