[VIRTUAL] Development and evaluation of 0.5mm isotropic resolution T1-weighted and DTI templates of the older adult brain
(AAIC 2020)
- "MIITRA_0.5mm_T1 and MIITRA_0.5mm_DTI are high-quality, high-resolution templates of the older adult brain and allow higher spatial normalization accuracy of older adult data compared to other available templates."

CerebrA, registration and manual label correction of Mindboggle-101 atlas for MNI-ICBM152 template.
(PubMed, Sci Data)
- "MNI-ICBM2009c is the most recent version of the MNI-ICBM152 brain average, providing a higher level of anatomical details. Cerebra is based on an accurate non-linear registration of cortical and subcortical labelling from Mindboggle 101 to the symmetric MNI-ICBM2009c atlas, followed by manual editing."

Toward a Common Terminology for the Thalamus.
(PubMed, Front Neuroanat)
- "...The volumes of each atlas were 3d-reconstructed and spatially registered to the standard MNI/ICBM2009b reference volume of the Human Brain Atlas in the MNI (Montreal Neurological Institute) space (Mai and Majtanik, 2017)...The final scheme of the spatial organization provided the frame for the selected terms for the subdivisions of the human thalamus using on the (modified) terminology of the Federative International Programme for Anatomical Terminology (FIPAT). Waiving of exact individual definition of regional boundaries in favor of the statistical representation within the open MNI platform provides the common and objective (standardized) ground to achieve concordance between results from different sources (microscopy, imaging etc.)."
