Translational Preclinical Evaluation of GenSci136, a Long-Acting Dual B-Cell-Activating Factor (BAFF)/A Proliferation-Inducing Ligand (APRIL) Inhibitor, in Experimental Lupus Nephritis (KIDNEY WEEK 2026) - "In cynomolgus monkeys, single-dose GenSci136 showed sustained systemic exposure and longer mean residence time than telitacicept, with prolonged reductions in IgM, IgA, and IgG. Conclusion GenSci136 suppresses pathogenic humoral immunity and mitigates immune-complex–mediated renal injury across complementary preclinical models. Its sustained pharmacologic activity supports further clinical development for LN and other immune-complex–mediated kidney diseases."

Mechanistic and Translational Preclinical Evaluation of GenSci136, a Long-Acting Dual BAFF/APRIL Inhibitor, in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (EULAR 2026) - "In vivo efficacy was assessed in female MRL/MpJ-Faslpr/J (MRL/lpr) mice randomized to receive vehicle, prednisone, or GenSci136 at multiple dose levels for 14 weeks. Image(s), graphic(s), or table(s) GenSci136 reduced total anti-dsDNA antibodies, improved UACR, and attenuated renal pathology in the MRL/lpr spontaneous lupus mouse model. Exploratory PK/PD assessment of GenSci136 with telitacicept as reference drug at 3 mg/kg dose in cynomolgus monkeys."
