Assessment of in vitro potency of KNP-301, a novel anti-VEGF/anti-complement bispecific fusion protein, relative to standard-of-care agents. (ARVO 2026) - "Here, we performed head-to-head in vitro potency assessments of KNP-301 versus SOC agents for nvAMD (aflibercept, faricimab) and GA (pegcetacoplan, avacincaptad pegol [AVP])...These findings suggest that KNP-301 could combine the benefits of two treatment approaches in a single therapy. By targeting both major pathways involved in AMD, KNP-301 has the potential to improve disease control for patients with nvAMD, GA, or both."
