Modeling to Assess the Impact of Liquid, Stable Glucagon for Mini-dosing in Pediatrics—A Simulated Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Study
(ADA 2025)
- "Introduction and Objective: Mini-dose glucagon can be used to treat mild or impending hypoglycemia that historically required reconstitution of lyophilized powder... Simulations of virtual pediatric populations across 5 glucagon doses and various baseline glucose levels indicated doses of 100 or 150 µg might be sufficient to provide glucose responses regardless of age/weight. Future clinical studies can validate findings."
