Optimal dosing of ciprofol for gastrointestinal endoscopy: a systematic review and network meta-analysis.
(PubMed, BMC Gastroenterol)
- "A dose of 0.4 mg/kg of ciprofol may represent the optimal dose for endoscopic sedation, as it can reduce the incidence of injection pain, respiratory depression, and hypotension. However, most included studies focus on Chinese populations, which limits the global applicability of the findings. Future RCTs conducted in more countries are warranted."

Chinese clinical practice guidelines for total intravenous anaesthesia: a systematic review and expert consensus-based recommendations☆.
(PubMed, Br J Anaesth)
- "After collection and selection of clinical questions, the working group conducted rigorous searches of the literature, formulated recommendations, and finally reached a consensus. A total of 22 recommendations were made on 12 clinical issues, including the indications, contraindications, and advantages of TIVA, use of depth of anaesthesia monitoring during implementation, pharmacological characteristics of available i.v. anaesthetic drugs, selection and use of drugs in target- and nontarget-controlled infusion modes, and precautions for application of TIVA in special populations, thus providing guidance for anaesthetists to standardise implementation of TIVA."

Ciprofol versus propofol for sedation in colonoscopy: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
(PubMed, Braz J Anesthesiol)
- "Ciprofol provides comparable efficacy to propofol for colonoscopy sedation, with a lower incidence of respiratory depression, injection pain, and hypotension. Patient satisfaction was slightly higher with ciprofol, while bradycardia occurrence was similar. These findings suggest ciprofol as a promising alternative, though further large-scale studies are needed to confirm its clinical benefits."

However, additional evidence is required to validate these findings due to the limitations posed by the sample size."
