GSK5471713: A novel, selective oral androgen receptor degrader with best-in-class potential for the treatment of prostate cancer
(AACR 2026)
- "Patients with locally advanced or metastatic disease are frequently treated with AR pathway inhibitors (ARPIs) targeting AR (e.g., enzalutamide) and/or androgen synthesis (e.g., abiraterone), and while these therapies offer survival benefit, patients frequently develop resistance via reactivation of AR signaling. In total, these data demonstrate GSK5471713 as a potential best-in-class AR degrader offering benefit to patients with prostate cancer. GSK5471713 is expected to advance into Phase 1 clinical studies in early 2026."
