Preclinical development of UB-VV500, an in vivo potency-enhanced CAR T cell product targeting BCMA and GPRC5D for multiple myeloma
(ASGCT 2026)
- "In addition, UB-VV500 also encodes a Rapamycin- Activated Cytokine Receptor (RACRTM), designed to enable small-molecule controlled IL-2/IL- 15-like signaling within the transduced cells, promoting CAR T cell expansion and antitumor activity. Finally, UB- VV500 induced strong antitumor effects in vivo against OPM-2 tumor cells expressing either BCMA or GPRC5D, leading to tumor clearance and enhanced overall survival. Overall, these data support the clinical development of UB-VV500 as a therapeutic modality for MM."
