Cupric citrate supplementation improves growth performance, nutrient utilization, antioxidant capacity, and intestinal microbiota of broilers.
(PubMed, Anim Biosci)
- "In contrast, the other groups received basal diets supplemented with either 50 mg/kg (CS-50) or 100 mg/kg (CS-100) of copper in the form of copper sulfate, or 50 mg/kg (CC-50) or 100 mg/kg (CC-100) of copper in the form of cupric citrate, for a period of 42 days...Copper supplementation generally improves the growth, nutrient utilization, intestinal microflora, gastrointestinal pH, and antioxidant defences of broilers. Moreover, cupric citrate is as effective as copper sulfate even at equal or lower concentrations."

The effect of carvacrol on the proinflammatory cytokines, histology, and fertility outcome of cisplatin-related ovarian change in a rat model.
(PubMed, Taiwan J Obstet Gynecol)
- "These findings suggest that carvacrol at high doses can reduce the harmful effects of cisplatin on the ovary and improve ovarian reserve in rats."

Lack of correlation between growth rate and sequence type among Cronobacter sakazakii.
(PubMed, Food Microbiol)
- "Three strains were found to belong to CC100 and two were found to belong to ST64...CC4 strains have a slightly not significant tendency for faster growth rates at 25 °C; however, the small sample size suggests that more strains need to be analysed to determine if this is a true result. In conclusion, the growth rates of C. sakazakii strains do not appear to be strongly correlated to ST."

CHARACTERIZATION OF STREPTOCOCCUS PNEUMONIAE SEROTYPES 22F AND 33F CAUSING INVASIVE PNEUMOCOCCAL DISEASE IN CANADA: SAVE STUDY 2011-2020
(ISPPD 2022)
- "Conclusions Serotype 22F was commonly isolated, highly clonal and generally susceptible to antimicrobials (except CLR) with little MDR. Serotype 33F demonstrated low susceptibility to CLR and SXT, MDR within CC717 and an increasing prevalence of CC100."

Invasive pneumococcal disease caused by serotypes 22F and 33F in Canada: the SAVE study 2011-2018.
(PubMed, Diagn Microbiol Infect Dis)
- "Serotype 33F isolates demonstrated low susceptibility to clarithromycin and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (22.4% and 24.6%, respectively) and 4.8% MDR. CC100 prevalence increased significantly over time (2011: 50.0%, 2018: 84.8%, P < 0.006). Continued surveillance of these serotypes is crucial to identify further changes in prevalence, antimicrobial susceptibility, and clonal spread."

Animal performance, ingestive behavior, and carcass characteristics of grazing-finished steers supplemented with castor bean (Ricinus communis L.) meal protein.
(PubMed, Trop Anim Health Prod)
- "Dietary treatments included CC00-without castor bean meal; CC33-153 g/kg of castor bean meal; CC66-308 g/kg of castor bean meal; and CC100-434 g/kg of castor bean meal...Carcass measures, carcass composition, chemical composition of Longissimus thoracis muscle, and profile and the sum of fatty acids were not affected (P > 0.05) by castor bean meal replacement on the diets. Results from this experiment suggest that castor bean meal may replace soybean meal in pasture supplementation without altered digestibility, carcass characteristics, and fatty acid profile."

Anatomic GreenLight laser vaporization-incision technique for benign prostatic hyperplasia using the XPS LBO-180W system: How I do it.
(PubMed, Can J Urol)
- "Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) has remained the reference standard for men with prostates sized 30 cc-80 cc, while open prostatectomy is universally guidelines-recommended in the absence of enucleation, for men with prostates larger than 80 cc-100 cc...The objective of this article is to detail our surgical approach to the anatomic GreenLight laser vaporization-incision technique using the XPS LBO-180W system, based on extensive personal experience with both enucleation and vaporization techniques using various laser technologies. Standardization of the VIT based on proper cystoscopy, knowledge of prostate anatomy with preoperative ultrasound, and routine technique is essential to developing consistent, reproducible and optimal surgical outcomes."

Technical Report: Repeatability of Contrast Sensitivity Test in Children.
(PubMed, Optom Vis Sci)
- "Repeatability measured by the coefficient of variation is better for the middle frequency range (3 and 6 cpd) than for low (1.5 cpd) and high frequencies (12 and 18 cpd). The variability of the differences between the first and second measurements suggests that the participants were not able to maintain a stable response criterion. The test seems to be subject to a learning effect, and the standard normality range may not be adequate for children."

CC100 Phase 1 Multiple Dose Study in Patients with ALS
(AAN 2020)
- "1) CC100 has a favorable short-term safety and tolerability profile in ALS patients. 2) Changes in biomarkers IL-6, TREM2, MCP-1, and pNfH suggest potential mechanisms for benefit in ALS. 3) Treatment of ALS with CC100 warrants further study."
