Impact of single-use bioreactor bag materials on Spodoptera frugiperda cell expansion for recombinant adeno-associated virus manufacturing.
(PubMed, Biotechnol Prog)
- "While growth kinetics in shake flasks and the Pall Allegro XRS system were comparable, reduced growth rates and delayed proliferation were observed in Cytiva Cellbags...Analytical extractables and leachables profiling was not performed; therefore, leachable-mediated contributions cannot be fully excluded. These findings highlight the importance of single-use bag selection and occupancy optimization for robust and scalable Sf9 cell expansion processes."

Ischemic Colitis Reporting Across the Triptan Class: A Cross-Database Analysis With FDA Label Review
(ACG 2026)
- " We queried the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) and WHO VigiBase on 5/1/2026 for IC reports associated with sumatriptan, naratriptan, rizatriptan, zolmitriptan, almotriptan, eletriptan, and frovatriptan... Sumatriptan had the highest absolute IC case volume (FAERS: 87 cases; VigiBase: 114 cases) consistent with its dominant overall reporting volume. Rizatriptan was the only agent with significantly elevated IC reporting proportions in both FAERS (1.76% vs 0.79%, p=0.0007) and VigiBase (0.55% vs 0.31%, p=0.009). Frovatriptan was elevated in FAERS only (4.48% vs 0.85%, p=0.020)."

Exploring charge density waves in two-dimensional NbSe2 with machine learning.
(PubMed, NPJ Comput Mater)
- "Here, we develop a physically informed workflow for training machine-learning interatomic potentials (MLIPs) based on the E(3)-equivariant Allegro architecture, tailored to capture the subtle structural and dynamical signatures of CDWs in mono- and bilayer NbSe2...Our MLIPs enable reliable simulations of commensurate and incommensurate CDW phases, including their sensitivity to dimensionality and stacking, as well as CDW dynamics, phonons, and transition temperatures estimated via the stochastic self-consistent harmonic approximation. This work opens new possibilities for studying and tuning CDWs in NbSe2 and other two-dimensional systems, with implications for electron-phonon coupling, superconductivity, and advanced materials design."

Chemical intuition on bond-dissociation energies as an emergent ability of universal machine-learning interatomic potentials.
(PubMed, Nat Commun)
- "To expose this information, we develop an edge-wise emergent energy-decomposition framework and apply it to an Allegro neural-network potential trained on SPICE2, a dataset composed of stable molecular structures...We further examine a hybrid training set and find that combining complementary chemical data improves transition-state energy-prediction accuracy while reshaping the learned bond representations. These results indicate that scalable interatomic potentials can acquire transferable bond concepts without explicit bond-energy labels, providing a way to analyze the transition-state energy-prediction problem."

A Multi-Centre Real-World Evaluation of Ritlecitinib in Severe Alopecia Areata: Patient Reported Outcome Measures
(BAD 2026)
- "Ritlecitinib has shown clinically meaningful efficacy in trials for alopecia areata (AA). Interpretation of our findings should consider differences in case mix, prior or concomitant therapies, adherence and follow-up between trial and real-world settings. Larger, prospective studies using trial-aligned endpoints and validated PROMs (as used in ALLEGRO) are needed to refine real-world effectiveness estimates."

Risk-Prioritized Experience Replay for Stable In-Hand Manipulation.
(PubMed, Sensors (Basel))
- "Risk-PER is integrated with Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) and evaluated in MuJoCo simulation on two Allegro Hand in-hand manipulation tasks involving a block and an egg. Across the evaluated settings, Risk-PER achieves higher success rates, lower manipulation risk, and more stable learning behavior than HER and reward-penalty-based risk-averse baselines. These results suggest that incorporating task-specific risk awareness into replay prioritization can improve both learning efficiency and manipulation stability in dexterous in-hand manipulation."

Analysis of brain network temporal reconfiguration and frequency-domain features during dynamic orchestral segmentation transition based on electroencephalography.
(PubMed, PLoS One)
- "In a passive listening task, we used Mozart's Serenade in G major for Strings, K.525 (Allegro) as the auditory stimulus...Furthermore, θ power increased with greater structural complexity and a higher spectral centroid (FDR-corrected p < 0.05), indicating a specific mapping between these acoustic features and oscillatory activity. Our study provides evidence for the deep interactive relationship that persists between changes in musical acoustic structure and internal neural oscillations of the brain."

Complete Scalp Hair Regrowth and Predictors of Response in Patients With Alopecia Areata Receiving Ritlecitinib 50 mg up to 3 Years in the ALLEGRO Clinical Trial Program
(EADV-Sp 2026)
- P2b, P3 | "Conclusions Among patients aged ≥12 years with AA and ≥50% scalp hair loss receiving ritlecitinib 50 mg, almost one-third achieved complete scalp hair regrowth (SALT score of 0 during at least 1 visit) up to Month 36-38, with the majority sustaining that response at later visits or remaining at SALT score ≤5. Patients who were female, had shorter duration of significant (≥50%) scalp hair loss, shorter disease duration, or less extensive scalp hair loss at baseline were more likely to achieve complete scalp hair regrowth with ritlecitinib treatment."

Characterizing Defect Dynamics in Silicon Carbide Using Symmetry-Adapted Collective Variables and Machine Learning Interatomic Potentials.
(PubMed, J Chem Theory Comput)
- "We employ an active learning strategy comprising symmetry-adapted collective variable discovery and enhanced sampling to compile configurationally diverse training data, calculation of energies and forces using density functional theory (DFT), and training of an E(3)-equivariant MLIP based on the Allegro model. The trained MLIP reproduces DFT-level accuracy in defect transition activation free energy barriers, enables the efficient and stable simulation of multidefect 216-atom supercells, and permits an analysis of the temperature dependence of defect thermodynamic stability and formation/annihilation kinetics to propose an optimal annealing temperature to maximally stabilize VV divacancies."

Machine learned potential for defected single layer hexagonal boron nitride.
(PubMed, J Chem Phys)
- "We present here a MLIP suitable for simulations of the temperature dependent structure and dynamics of single layer hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) with defects and grain boundaries, developed using a strictly local equivariant deep neural network, Allegro...Molecular dynamics simulations of the grain boundary yield a scaled mobility of 1.739 × 10-11 m3/Js at 1500 K which, given the different setups without continuous e-beam irradiation, is not too far from the experimental value of 1.36 × 10-9 m3/Js. The ability to predict grain boundary mobility within reasonable agreement with experiment demonstrates the robustness of the MLIP and its suitability for reliable simulations of defect structures and dynamics in single layer h-BN."
