A 177Lu Bone Microenvironment–Targeted Radiopharmaceutical with Integrated Tumor Suppression, Bone Protection, and Pain Relief Across Osteolytic and Osteoblastic Bone Metastases
(SNMMI 2026)
- "Bisphosphonates (e.g., zoledronic acid) and denosumab reduce skeletal-related events but lack direct anti-tumor activity. BPR-6023021 represents a novel bone microenvironment–targeted radiopharmaceutical that uniquely integrates tumor suppression, bone protection, and durable pain relief within a single systemic therapy. Unlike existing bone-directed agents that address only isolated disease components, BPR-6023021 demonstrates robust efficacy across osteolytic, osteoblastic, and mixed bone metastases while maintaining a favorable safety profile. The compound has received clinical trial authorization from the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China and is currently initiating a Phase I clinical study."
