Late Breaking Abstract - GTX-11m exerts dual antifibrotic and immunomodulatory effects in human macrophages in vitro (ERS 2026) - "Nintedanib showed a similar profile but did not inhibit TNFα or CCL15 expression.M2 polarized HMDMs showed marked induction of CCL23, FN1 and LPL, which was reduced by GTX-11m.In addition, GTX-11m inhibited TGFβ-induced SMAD2 activation.ConclusionsGTX-11m directly regulates macrophage polarization by attenuating both pro-inflammatory and profibrotic gene expression and modulating TGFβ/SMAD2 signaling. These findings support a dual antifibrotic and immunomodulatory mechanism, further strengthening the therapeutic potential of GTX-11 in fibrotic diseases."
