Computational Exploration of Small Hydrocarbon Networks: A Stochastic Generation and DFT Refinement Framework.
(PubMed, J Comput Chem)
- "The methodology is readily extendable to heavier elements and expanded property datasets, providing a valuable resource for astrochemical modeling, molecular spectroscopy, and computational hydrocarbon discovery. The HydroMol web application is freely accessible at https://hydromol.github.io."

Skin permeation and penetration of mometasone furoate in the presence of emollients: An ex vivo evaluation of clinical application protocols.
(PubMed, Skin Health Dis)
- "Applying Elocon cream at short intervals in relation to Hydromol intensive significantly increased MF absorption regardless of the application protocol. Emollients can affect MF absorption in different ways depending on the emollient and sequence of administration. Using a 30 min gap between product applications may not be sufficient to mitigate emollient effects on TCS absorption."

Erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp in a patient commenced on a bispecific antibody targeting epidermal growth factor receptor and mesenchymal–epithelial transition factor
(BAD 2022)
- "The reaction was mild and responded to mildly potent topical steroids and oral lymecycline...Subsequently, treatment was interrupted and dermatological treatments instigated, including Hydromol ointment and daily dressings to soften and lift the crust, and super-potent topical steroids, which were switched to tacrolimus ointment following an improvement...This case highlights the profound follicular reactions that may occur following targeted treatments in oncology, particularly those agents targeting the EGFR pathway. Collaborative multidisciplinary management is required to unravel the critical roles these mechanisms play in follicular and epithelial homeostasis, while allowing the development of effective skin-management strategies for these growing array of novel therapies."

Emollient satisfaction questionnaire: validation study in children with eczema.
(PubMed, Clin Exp Dermatol)
- "The emollient satisfaction questionnaire appears to have good validity. Further work is required to validate the questionnaire in other settings and to assess its reliability."

[VIRTUAL] A perplexing recurrent exfoliative eruption in a child
(BAD 2021)
- "The patient’s mother was advised to stop Hibiscrub and switch to Hydromol ointment to wash and moisturize with...Pediatr Dermatol 2019; 36: 540–1) but rarely reported in children (Toholka R, Nixon R. Allergic contact dermatitis to chlorhexidine. Australas J Dermatol 2013; 54: 303–6) and typically presents with an urticaria, a cellulitis-like eruption or eczema. We report a case of a paediatric patient presenting with an exfoliative dermatitis secondary to chlorhexidine use (Dermol 500 and Hibiscrub), with no further skin breakouts once the agent was stopped."

VALIDATION STUDY OF AN EMOLLIENT SATISFACTION QUESTIONNAIRE
(ISAD 2021)
- "Data were analysed from the ‘Choice of Moisturiser For Eczema Treatment’ trial which compared four emollient types (Aveeno lotion, Diprobase cream, Doublebase gel and Hydromol ointment) in children with eczema aged 1 month to <5 years...Respondents favoured Aveeno lotion most and Diprobase cream least. However, perceptions of emollients may differ from clinical effectiveness."

[VIRTUAL] Systematized delayed‐type hypersensitivity to low‐molecular‐weight heparin in pregnancy: a case report and literature review
(BAD 2020)
- "She was reviewed by the dermatology team, who recommended fondaparinux SC injections until she gave birth, prior to becoming established on oral apixaban. Her rash resolved completely following treatment with topical betnovate valerate 0.1% and hydromol ointment. She later attended dermatology outpatients for prick testing and intradermal testing to enoxaparin, dalteparin and fondaparinux, as well as patch testing with the standard and medicament series, including samples of enoxaparin and dalteparin...Nadroparin is reported to be the LMWH of highest allergen risk in pregnancy. Our case highlights the significant morbidity that can occur if LMWH allergy is misdiagnosed and confirms the recommended use of fondaparinux as an alternative heparin preparation."
