Proof of Concept Study Evaluating the Relative Efficacy and Safety of Concomitant Acetaminophen-Naproxen Sodium versus Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone and Naproxen in Postoperative Dental Pain
(PAINWeek 2021)
- "In this POC study, concomitant administration of acetaminophen and naproxen sodium at currently available OTC strengths produced long-lasting analgesic efficacy superior to the highest labeled dose of ACET/HYD and the highest OTC dose of NAP. Onset of pain relief was similarly rapid for both ACET-NAP dose combinations and ACET650/HYD10. Both ACET-NAP dose combinations provided superior analgesia through 0-6 hours versus ACET650/HYD10."
