Effects of excessive topical glucocorticoids on ovarian aging. (PubMed, Cutan Ocul Toxicol) - "In female C57BL/6 mice (n = 6 per group), we established an excessive topical GC exposure model using an intentionally supratherapeutic fluocinolone acetonide regimen, which caused marked epidermal/dermal atrophy and impaired skin barrier function...However, systemic glucocorticoid exposure was not measured, and the study was not powered to exclude small effects on ovarian function. Therefore, these findings do not establish ovarian safety, and larger and longer-duration studies are required."

Delayed Candida keratitis associated with Descemet's stripping endothelial keratoplasty. Evaluation of fractional ablative CO2 laser and triple combination cream in the treatment of melasma– a randomized controlled study (BAD 2026) - "Triple combination cream (TCC), which includes hydroquinone (4%), tretinoin (0.05%) and fluocinolone acetonide (0.01%), is considered first-line therapy for melasma. The study has shown that fractional CO2 laser offers modest additional benefit and is safe in the treatment of melasma. Hence, further studies are required."
